Spanish-Italian Rice


  • 1 25 oz.  jar Cucina Antica Puttanesca sauce
  • 1/4-1/3 cup scallions, sliced or chopped
  • rice
  • frozen peas, thawed (optional)
  • mussels (optional)
  • shrimp (optional)
  • chicken (optional)


Prepare desired amount of rice according to package directions, substituting half of the water amount with Cucina Antica Puttanesca Sauce. Once rice is cooked, add thawed peas, and - if desired - add cooked mussels, shrimp, or chicken to turn the dish into a main course.

Top with scallions and serve.
