Our Spicy Arrabbiata sauce is a customer favorite because of its secret ingredient: crushed red peppers. If you're looking for a way to spice up a classic pasta dish, this is it!

INGREDIENTS

  • 24 oz Cucina Antica Spicy Arrabbiata pasta sauce
  • 8 oz penne pasta
  • 1 lb shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 3 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • Optional toppings for serving:
    • 1/4 cup Fresh basil, roughly chopped
    • Parmesan cheese

 

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add the shrimp to the pan, season with salt and black pepper, and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until shrimp is opaque. Transfer to a bowl.
  2. Add the Spicy Arrabbiata sauce & basil and cook until hot, stirring occasionally.
  3. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta until al dente.
  4. Add the pasta to the cooked sauce and stir in the shrimp. Toss to combine.
  5. Serve with grated Parmesan cheese and fresh basil, if desired.
