Ingredients
-
8 oz penne pasta
-
3 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
-
1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
-
Salt and pepper, to taste
-
1 - 25 oz jar of Cucina Antica Spicy Arrabbiata sauce
-
¼ cup fresh basil, roughly chopped
-
Grated Parmesan cheese, for garnish
Directions
In a large pot, bring lightly salted water to boil. Add pasta and cook until al dente.
In a large non-stick skillet, heat 1 tbsp olive oil over medium-high heat. Add shrimp, season with salt and black pepper, and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until shrimp is opaque. Transfer to a bowl and set aside.
In the same skillet, add the Spicy Arrabbiata sauce and basil. Cook until hot, stirring occasionally (about 4 minutes).
Add the pasta and shrimp to the sauce. Toss to combine. Garnish with grated Parmesan cheese and fresh basil.
