Ingredients
-
2 baking pumpkins (sugar, peanut, Jack Be Little, New England are good options)
-
1 tbsp olive oil
-
1 tsp garlic powder
-
2 tsp chili powder (reduce based on your spice preference)
-
½ tsp cinnamon
-
Salt and pepper, to taste
-
1 bottle Cucina Antica Organic Ketchup
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Peel your pumpkin (in most cases, a potato peeler should do the trick). Cut off the top of the pumpkin and scoop out the seeds and pulp. Cut your pumpkin in half, then chop it into desired fry-size pieces.
Place olive oil, garlic powder, chili powder, cinnamon, salt, and pepper in a resealable bag and shake slightly to mix. Add your fries, seal the bag, and shake until fries are well coated.
Place fries on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 20-30 minutes, or until tender.
Plate and serve with Cucina Antica Organic Ketchup on the side.
